As she has transitioned to life at home, forming Black Girls Tennis Club has been the perfect way to engage in a real hobby and stay connected to her community. Kimberly formed Black Girls Tennis Club with Virginia because they are passionate about breaking down barriers. As an aspiring tennis player she recognizes that it can be intimidating not seeing anyone that looks like you on the court. Virginia and Kimberly have combined their shared interests of tennis, Black women and community and look forward to seeing the club grow.
