Williamsburg, Va native, Cymandye Russell has worn many hats within the entertainment field, from: radio, event planning, journalism, creative direction, design, and more! She began her journey in 2007 at Norfolk State University’s WNSB Hot 91.1 FM under the moniker “Lady C,” while earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Then, went on to work for WKJX 96.7 FM, WWRadio/The Blaze, & Fresh Radio. By 2012, XXL Magazine noted Cymandye as, “DMV’s well-known industry maven and radio host.” Later that year, she started her design company Art Riche. Cymandye’s run with journalism was writing for HipHopSince1987 and RESPECT Magazine. In 2015, she began working for Patchwerk Recording Studios in Atlanta, Ga and worked her way up to Social Media Manager, Sr. Graphic Designer, & contributed to the creation of the studio’s multimedia department.
