Stacy Celestin is a co-founder of myBalbo and serves as the Chief Operations Officer and a member of the Board of Directors. She is responsible for the efficiency of business by overseeing the company’s ongoing operations and procedures and securing the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth. Prior to myBalbo, Ms. Celestin worked at the Department of Homeland Security/U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (DHS/USCIS) as the Chief of Staff in which she was responsible for the management of 12 programs, ranging from data analytics to congressional outreach efforts for the largest district in the nation. During her tenure at DHS/USCIS, she was recognized as the highest ranking African American on the west coast for the agency. Ms. Celestin’s federal government background also includes working with agencies such as U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) as the Acting Deputy Director for the Foreign Service Division; Department of the Navy (DON) as the Deputy, Human Capital Officer; and Health and Human Services (HHS) as a Senior Advisor. Throughout Ms. Celestin’s career, she has received various meritorious awards and accolades regarding cost savings projects to streamline organizational processes more efficiently and effectively. Stacy studied Global Affairs and Conflict Resolution at George Mason University.
In addition to Ms. Celestin’s experience, she takes part in various youth mentoring programs, runs her own real estate investment company that provides affordable housing options for underserved communities, travels to volunteer, and is a connoisseur of fine scotch.
